Shadocon, Holiday Matsuri, and HetaOni Anime

So, Shadocon is this weekend! Have you heard? Haha, I'm so excited. Once more I am in cast, this time in the Final Fantasy Ball on Friday! I'm a secret character again, so be sure to look for me! I'll be walking around, but you still won't know who I am until the ball

I'm really happy that I'm a third year in both cast, and in the mascot contest! Whoo! Also I'm taking part in the Opening Ceremonies, so be sure to watch it!

I hope to see you all there, and here's my outfit setup for the weekend:

Friday: Secret Character in FFB
Saturday: Italy, Secret Character in AHA
Sunday: Italy

Holiday Matsuri is another convention I shall be going to! And guess what? I'll be getting my 2P Italy outfit before then! So watch out everyone! All weekend there, I shall be him~ I hope to see you all, because acting like him shall be quite fun, especially with my 2P Spain.

Also, I'd like to note that I am in the Hands of Time Production with bekkomi and we are making an anime series of HetaOni. Yes, you heard me right! I'm Head Writer (among other things) and it's going quite well! We still are in need of help in several departments, so if you are interested, please go to HetaOni-Anime.

But btw, please do NOT ask for voice acting, we aren't opening auditions for a bit until we get the major things out of the way, thank you.

Metrocon and Flag Day

Alright, so Metrocon is in a few days *insert flailing about still having to get packed and ready for it* and I guess I should give a little update on what I will be going as, as well as my schedule. I will leave a few things out, but mainly you can easily find me if you see a Spain/Fem!2p!America/Seychelles with a Romano and an Italy (who has an Italian flag). I will be handing out homemade white flags again, but it's first come first serve! I may only have 24 of them available.

Oh, and for any of you patriotic or Hetalia peeps, this thursday is Flag Day. I am going to make a video with Wave Your Flag as the music, so take a picture of you holding a flag (cosplay, no cosplay, doesn't matter folks!). If you don't have a flag, you can draw one or print out a picture and hold it up. I'm bringing it beyond just the US flag to show all of us uniting under every flag we can. So show your support! Just send the pictures to me so I can make that video <3

Khaotic Kon

To start it off, Khaotic Kon was a blast, simple as that. I was terribly sad once it ended. And for me, it started on Thursday, as soon as I dressed in Italy and went to a class before being picked up and rushed over to dress rehearsal at the con. Funnily enough, I was called a pixie in that class by my professor (who was warned I would be dressing up), and three people recognized me as Italy.

Needless to say, I was super nervous. Why? I was worried that I would disappoint people that I wasn't that good of an Italy. Silly I know, but I truly wanted to show people that I could get into the part and make it real. That Thursday night, I barely got any sleep because rehearsal ran so late, YAY AHA! I then had to record a quick video with my friend Cloud for the Yaoi Clinic which would be seen the next night. After so many blurbs and retakes, along with me almost falling asleep, we finally were done. When I got back to my room, I promptly fell asleep.

I woke up early on Friday, nervous as anything. I was in opening ceremonies, so I quickly walked over there as soon as I got dressed. We were slightly late in opening it, but it went off without a hitch. I was proud to say that I was Khaotic Komrade #6, aka the one who was acting like a stalker and yelled at Henry to 'MARRY ME!' and clinged to his leg like a crazy people. Yes, the same one who yelled 'I WANT YOUR BABIES!' and 'I LOVE YOU!'. Remember guys, stalking is not okay at all! After opening ceremonies, I immediately went upstairs to change into none other than ITALY! I dressed rather quickly because I wanted to start advertising for Hetalia Nations that day. I wandered around quite a bit, and don't have too much memory about it sadly. I do remember getting picked up by two Prussias though, for a picture. I was so surprised that I couldn't stop laughing about it. I got stolen a few times by a Belarus, which was HILARIOUS! I watched the Evil Shindig of course, and then the nerves started to hit big time. I raced to my room to get my stuff and then back to the ballroom to help setup. I think we ran a bit late, so I started to drag quite a few of the cast out to entertain our guests, such as England, Ichigo, Japan, and even France. I handed out the little white flags to a few lucky people in line. I must say, I had a hard time getting out of my Italy voice for quite some time! I went out around three times until we were allowed people to come in, and I of course brought out my white flag and started to wave it around before running back inside to start the show. Hetalia Nations went off without a HITCH! A hilarious thing was, none other than Todd Haberkorn came on stage and everyone went wild. I stayed in character and kept looking confused as to why there was another person with my voice. (Yes, we knew about this happening~). We continued on with the show and I picked someone from the audience to be my representative; she was so adorable! Whoever you were, thank you so much <3 I hope you had a great time! And to those who saw the ending and who my REAL representative was.... HEHEHE! Italy so wins~ Not so useless, hm? Hehe, well, I hope everyone loved my little speech at the end about a nation, I was nervous about messing it up, but the words came out perfectly and everyone loved the ending. I nearly started to cry at the end because I didn't want this to end. I love my kast so much, they're my family. The complete ending with the map signed by the whole kast as the nations and the flowers, they were planned at the last minute to surprise our directors who put up with our awesome antics~ After Hetalia Nations ended, they had to start setting up for Murder Mystery. I had a slight role in it, as seen when Furer Bradley came in. Germany and I saluted him and then got 'kicked' out. The two of us did leave because we hadn't eaten since before noon and really needed food x.x So we went to taco bell and then came back and derped around. I had so many people come up complimenting me on my Italy accent and my part and once more, I wanted to cry, it meant so much for people to say that to me after all the hard work I put into cosplaying and larping as him. I did try my best to always stay in character. I did managed to have Todd sign my Italy kast badge earlier, and then I got to give him his specially made surrender flag with a 1 up mushroom cookie that I had made for the Hetalia Nations show. He loved them! I had to change as soon as it got late so I could get going to the Yaoi Clinic as Ciel Phantomhive. I was beginning to feel incredibly tired and napped in the back of the curtain until it was my turn. The dance would have been better if it was practices more, but people loved it. As soon as it was over, I went upstairs and passed out, even though my Germany wanted me to rave lol.

The next morning, Saturday was fun, because my binder hid from me (the whole weekend). It was in the bathroom apparently (it hid too well). I dressed as Rin Kagamine for my Vocaloids Unplugged panel before I changed once more into Italy. I found my Romano <3 and we derped around a bit, and I was nervous about the photoshoot, since it was the first one I've been to. Again people came up to me complimenting me and I kept getting flustered again and again. Sorry for those who I wouldn't approach before the photoshoot

I was being out of character and REALLY shy. I met some cool people though and went to subway with them, had the POCKY GAME with my Romano (won thrice out of three time~~) and then met more people during the photoshoot. After that I went to the two Hetalia panels, which were awesome. Hilarious enough, at the first one, someone asked what a nation was... I almost facepalmed/giggled like a maniac before that was EXACTLY what I had explained in my show! The Germany pointed me out as I raised my hand saying that I could answer that, so I did, replicating my speech. Needlessly, everyone loved it and I quickly sat down, not wanting to steal any thunder. I had to get ready again for yet another thing I was doing... The Parade of Nations. I was hanging out with some other Hetalia peeps spreading the word and then led a large group around the hotel and then into the Shadocon panel. Soon I hung out more with people before changing for AHA, where I was Kadaj and walking on stage briefly as Roxas. AHA went amazing and being too tired and too shy to go rave I went to taco bell with some of my friends before coming back and sitting with people that I've seen throughout the con. I did see Todd outside walking around, and he looked so tired. I hope he did get some sleep when I told him. I still laugh when I called over the Prussia I saw before. We had a fun time talking, and chasing a car that was on the ground >w> *coughs* AND I kept slipping into either my british or Italy accent, it was crazy XD Mainly it was the british for the whole day. I went up briefly to change from Roxas' wig to Italy and went to set with the same people again, talking and laughing and having french fries fed to me. Sooner or later they had to leave and I finally retired to bed.

Again I had to wake up early on Sunday and change into casual Ciel for Kuroshitsuji: The Arrival panel I hosted. I was losing my voice at this time, so it was hard keeping my british accent. Having a big pink bow and a little hat attached to me was hilarious, but I had to keep my cool (and my balance, darn eyepatch). I immediately changed back to Italy (of course) and found a Hetalia group that I saw so many times already. I hung out with them, which was fun, and became so sad when it was starting to get late! I did play the pocky game with them though. I tied with Fem!Romano, and then I won against her and Prussia hahaha. Mmmm pocky~ Did I mention I was an akuma for the D.Gray Man interactive? yes, cute little Italy, a sad level one akuma >w>;; I kept rolling ones too... When it was time for the closing ceremonies, I excused myself to see if there was anything I could do for it, and I managed to run on stage and officially declare Khaotic Nations, a, well, a nation! Everyone loved that apparently hehe. Oh, and never mess with mafia!Italy <3 I borrowed someone fedora to play around with that persona. Right after the ceremonies was the brb rave, which rocked! I love dancing on the stage with my kastmates. I did get stolen off stage a bunch too, especially by Prussia LOL (doesn't dance well). I was carried around on my representative's shoulders though during the congo line, which was epic. Sadly the rave had to end and everyone had to leave. Most of the kast stayed behind to have a little kast talk.

I was nearly crying at the end. I love them all so much. Three months it took to get all of this together, and it was worth it. It was worth seeing everyone cheer and love our shows. To those who kept coming up to me, whether for pictures, hugs, or your wonderful comments, thank you. It meant so much to me and I really appreciate it. I know I was spreading the word that there might be another showing of Hetalia Nations on Sunday, but sadly we couldn't get our kast together fully, so we weren't able to do it. I truly am sorry guys, I know so many people wanted to watch it who weren't able to make it on friday. However, if anyone is interested, the entire kast is going to be doing a Hetalia Nations Encore panel at Shadocon! Come see us! It won't be completely the same, but it'll be hilarious!

I must admit, it's funny when people realize how old I am compared to them.

Japan and Retreating Italians

So a few of you, or if you at least follow me on facebook or looked at my last journal, know that I went to Japan. Yes, it was amazing. I went so many places in Tokyo, AND I took over 2000 pictures. I got lazy. I do plan on going back there of course. But first I want to go to Scotland.

Now, for those wondering why I put retreating Italians in the title... I'm becoming a BIT too obsessed with Hetalia lol. Not that it's a bad thing~~~ I'm researching into acting like him better (easy enough), and getting his accent done. I want to be an AWESOME Italy hehe! Plus I'll be able to meet Todd Haberkorn, VA of Italy. Super excited. To see me as Italy for the first time, go to Khaotic Kon! I'll be there in Hetalia Nations, and I'll be Italy in a Yaoi panel late night on friday. Don't miss either of them! I promise to not disappoint you! Even if you can't make it to KK, I'll be Italy at both Metro and at Shadocon for sure.

So for those who watch HetaOni... I'm rewatching it and am starting to make a fanfiction that I know will make you bawl. Hint? It's based on the last portion of Part 9, the first half. ^w^
